So I thought to make a quick guidance for those who struggle with connecting GNS3 to loopback interface. Windows successfully pinged the GNS3 router through the loopback adapter. Specially installing ASDM, you definitely need to create MS loopback interface. I opened GNS3 and created a lab with one router (c1700) and added an IP address (10.1.1.1 /24) to interface F0 and connected the router to a host device using the loopback adapter. While working on GNS3, it may require to connect physical interface of machine to activate more advance features.
